Job summary

TAGL Freight Solutions in El Paso, TX is seeking an experienced Bilingual Transportation Dispatcher to join our Operations Team onsite. You will coordinate daily dispatch operations for Local, Regional, and OTR drivers, source and book loads, and ensure loads move safely, on time, and in compliance.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, fluent in English and Spanish, with 2+ years in transportation or dispatching, strong broker relationships, and proficiency with load boards and TMS

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Minimum 2 years in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or fleet operations.
• Experience sourcing and booking loads with brokers.
• Knowledge of load boards and freight brokerage processes.
• Experience with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Experience with Dry Van and/or Flatbed operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations for Local, Regional, and OTR drivers.
• Plan and assign loads based on driver availability, location, equipment, and hours of service.
• Source and secure loads through brokers and load boards to maintain consistent fleet utilization.
• Communicate and negotiate with brokers regarding rates, load requirements, appointments, and service expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers, drivers, and other transportation partners.
• Monitor loads from pickup through delivery, including ETAs, appointments, delays, and service issues.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers and provide operational support throughout each load.
• Manage load documentation, rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and other required transportation documents.
• Utilize Alvys TMS for dispatching, load management, tracking, and operational documentation.
• Utilize Samsara and other fleet-management platforms to monitor equipment and operations.
• Help maximize fleet utilization and minimize empty miles.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company procedures.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to maintain customer service standards.

TAGL Freight Solutions is a growing transportation company with 5 years of experience providing Local, Regional, and OTR transportation services throughout the United States.

With operations based in El Paso and Houston, Texas, our fleet consists of 25+ units, including Dry Van and Flatbed equipment. As a growing small-fleet operation, we are focused on providing reliable service while continuing to expand our customer base, fleet, and transportation network.

We are currently looking for an experienced Bilingual Transportation Dispatcher to join our Operations Team in El Paso, TX.

Position Overview

The Transportation Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and planning daily fleet operations, communicating with drivers, sourcing and booking freight, and ensuring loads are executed safely, efficiently, and on time.

This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment, and capable of managing both driver operations and broker relationships.
