Job summary

Ottimo Resources is seeking a Dispatcher at our Westchester/LAX area headquarters to coordinate driver schedules and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. This role requires knowledge of domestic freight routes and strong operations coordination.

The position is full-time with overtime as listed; shifts include 2:30PM-12AM or 7:00AM-3:00PM, with overtime opportunities in a fast-paced freight environment. Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Strong LTL/FTL dispatching experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage truck driver schedules to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain contact with drivers to arrange pickups and deliveries for clients.
• Prioritize pickups and schedules based on delivery times.
• Enter orders and schedule in collaboration with operations agents.
• Verify delivery documents for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Review agents' rates and notify of accessorial charges.
• Collaborate with management to modify routes to meet customer needs.
• Build strong relationships with agents and customers to reduce last-minute stress.
• Respond to pickups and deliveries queries via phone and email.
• Address problems by transmitting information or providing solutions.

National Leader in LTL/FTL Trucking is seeking a talented Dispatcher to join their headquarters in the Westchester/LAX area! This role would be ideal for someone with an established work history in freight dispatching, knowledge of domestic freight routes, and excellent ops coordination skills.

Full Time +OT: Monday - Saturday -2:30PM-12AM

Or

Full Time + OT : Monday-Saturday -7am-3:00pm

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure cargo shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain contact with the fleet of truck drivers to arrange pickups and deliveries on behalf of clients
• Prioritize pickups and deliveries based on delivery times
• Enter orders and schedule in collaboration with operations agents
• Verify delivered shipments and examine shipping documents for accuracy and possible discrepancies
• Review agents' rate, approve and notify of accessorial charges
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
• Cultivate strong relationships with agents and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
• Respond to queries related to pickups and deliveries, via phone and email
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
