Job summary

Dynamic Service Solutions is seeking a bilingual Youth Care Worker for the 2nd shift in Houston, TX. You will supervise youth in care, document progress, and support trauma-informed care within a residential facility.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with the care team. A high school diploma is required, with preference for experience in ORR residential services and working with youths who need support to move toward stability and family

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services is preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of ORR Residential Care Services experience is preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of work/volunteer experience with juveniles is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are preferred.
• Must be 21 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and oversight of youth in care during assigned shift.
• Interact with youth to build rapport and serve as a role model in a safe environment.
• Assist in teaching daily life skills per treatment plan and restrictions.
• Apply Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques to deescalate and stabilize youth.
• Document observable behaviors, interventions, and daily progress notes as required.
• Remain positive and respectful, mindful of cultural differences during department activities.
• Assist with indoor/outdoor recreational activities and transport to appointments.
• Assist with intake and distribution of personal items, meals, and clothing.
