Job summary

Paycom in La Mirada, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee forklift operators, manage daily receiving, stocking, and shipping, and ensure accurate FIFO inventory control. You will coordinate with production to stock finished runs on time and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with food-industry logistics experience. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected, and overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience in the food industry with logistics and supervision.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information from purchase orders, contracts, and shipping documents in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, train, and support forklift operators and warehouse staff.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, inventory rotation, order selection, staging, and shipping.
• Coordinate with Production to stock finished production runs on time.
• Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure outbound orders are prepared for transportation and customers.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Train employees on safety, equipment procedures, sanitation standards, and applicable warehouse policies.
• Plan daily work assignments, staffing, productivity, attendance, and job performance.
• Promote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Report food safety and quality concerns to the responsible personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
