Job summary

F3 TECHNOLOGIES INC in Chicago, IL seeks a Traveling Field Implementation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and train on POS systems across the US and Canada. You will travel up to 100% of the time, with overnight stays, weekend work, and early/late shifts as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, 21+ age, TSA/REAL ID, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Compensation starts at $23/hour with overtime, and benefits including health, 401(k), and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Willingness to travel up to a full week with overnight stays.
• Ability to work four weekend days per month and be flexible with hours.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record meeting company standards.
• Real ID or passport for travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel continuously Monday through Friday to customer sites across the United States or Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems in person.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems with customer sites remotely as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Lead customer engagement during training, go-live, and troubleshooting services.
• Coordinate travel itineraries with dispatch and adapt to delays or reassignments.
• Transport and track equipment and inventory while traveling.
• Submit expense reports and maintain records of work and parts used.
