Job summary

Paylocity is hiring a Therapy Coordinator to support coordination of therapy services, including authorizations, referrals and intake, and coordination of care. This role acts as a primary contact for therapists and families, promoting timely communication, accurate documentation, and efficient therapy operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; must fluently speak, read, and write both languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Independent worker with ability to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate therapy services, including authorizations, referrals/intake, insurance denials and coordination of care.
• Serve as a liaison between the agency, therapists, patients, and caregivers.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with therapists.
• Coordinate medical records, data entry, authorization review, and related therapy processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor workflows, identify concerns, and assist with implementing solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Communicate important patient, therapist, and operational updates to management.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with families, therapists, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
• Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies, payer requirements, and professional standards.
• Demonstrate initiative in meeting goals and improving therapy coordination processes.
