Job summary

UW Credit Union in Milwaukee's Bay View branch is hiring a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Full-Time Teller who will greet members, perform transactions, and discuss UW products and services to help members reach their financial goals.

This role includes a $1.25/hour bilingual premium, a schedule of 40 hours per week with varied shifts, and a commitment to member-focused service in a welcoming community credit union.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Bay View branch location.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals.
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations.
• Help support and maintain member relations with Spanish speaking members.
