Job summary

UW Credit Union is hiring a bilingual Peak-Time Teller at our State Street branch in Madison, WI. This part-time role puts you at the face of the credit union, delivering friendly front-line service to members and supporting daily branch operations.

You’ll draw on knowledge of UWCU products to answer questions, refer opportunities, and help members meet their financial goals. Training is provided, hours count toward benefits, and fluency in English plus another language is valued to serve a

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment

Responsibilities

• Provide front-facing member service at the State Street branch location
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations
