Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• English and a second language proficiency; assessment will determine.
• Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Well-organized with time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with internet user-level technology.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, meeting and greeting customers and proactively addressing needs.
• Accurately balance and process customer transactions following Bank Policy.
• Own escalated account services issues until resolution and log all customer complaints.
• Transition sales opportunities and introduce appropriate banking partners.
• Perform branch operational activities (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
• Process customer/account maintenance accurately.
• Complete AML/KYC related activities.
• Adhere to compliance/risk controls and company standards.
• Promote M&T Bank brand and foster belonging.
• Maintain internal controls and respond to audit/regulator points.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
