Remote Jobs seeks a detail-oriented Surgical Coordinator & Patient Scheduler to manage end-to-end patient scheduling and surgical care workflows. You will bridge patients, surgical teams, and facilities, ensuring seamless coordination from initial consultation through recovery.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating procedures, securing OR time, managing EMR records, and educating patients about pre-op and post-op requirements with compassionate support.

Formación

• Experience in surgical coordination, medical scheduling, or care navigation.
• Understanding of pre-op clearance, prior authorizations, and post-op instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication with empathetic bedside manner.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule consultations, follow-ups, and pre-op evaluations.
• Coordinate procedures and secure OR time with providers and facilities.
• Manage scheduling systems to optimize clinical flow and avoid double bookings.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative care across providers and facilities.
• Ensure medical clearances, tests, and authorizations are secured in advance.
• Verify patient records for clinical, legal, and insurance completeness.
• Communicate with patients and families about pre-op requirements and post-op plans.
• Provide EMR updates and track post-op milestones and follow-ups.
