Staffing For Doctors seeks a detail-oriented Virtual Surgery Scheduling Coordinator for a U.S.-based orthopedic practice. You will coordinate surgical procedures, manage administrative workflows, and liaise with insurance payors, attorneys, and clinical teams.

This is a 100% remote role with PST hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Requirements include 2+ years in surgery scheduling, W/C/PI/Medicare knowledge, and strong EMR/EHR experience (ModMed EMA a plus).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in surgery scheduling for a U.S. medical practice.
• Orthopedics experience is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, and Medicare procedures.
• Fluent English; Spanish speaking preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; ModMed EMA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end surgery scheduling workflows and liaise with patients, centers, physicians, and staff.
• Review and edit medical reports and documents before distribution.
• Manage W/C, PI, and Medicare claims details for approvals and pre-authorizations.
• Communicate professionally with law offices and attorneys regarding cases.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients through pre-op and post-op steps.
• Work independently to resolve scheduling bottlenecks and update the EMR.
