Laent in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will coordinate surgical dates, communicate with physicians, patients, and facilities, and manage preoperative instructions to ensure a smooth day of surgery.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish, attention to detail, and a compassionate patient focus. Travel between LA CENTA clinic locations is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of surgery scheduling experience required.
• Experience in ENT and Allergy clinic preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
• General knowledge of HIPAA requirements and CPT codes.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in an organized and efficient manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external medical facilities.
• Ability to travel between LA CENTA clinic locations throughout the Los Angeles area as needed.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate surgical and procedural dates among patients, physicians, hospitals, and centers.
• Maintain physician surgical calendars and schedule around availability.
• Monitor schedules, identify conflicts, and resolve issues with physicians and teams.
• Coordinate procedure logistics to maximize efficiency without overbooking.
• Communicate schedule changes and patient instructions clearly and promptly.
• Provide primary contact for patients and ensure preoperative and postoperative guidance.
