Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home or day-time clinic services for patients aged 0–21, multiple times per week, following physician orders.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and Texas licensure, with pediatrics and home health experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills are an asset in serving families in our community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship completed.
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and fluency impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to set and evaluate patient goals and advise team on therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy objectives.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients via training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
