Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed SLPA to support pediatric patients, providing speech therapy in clients’ homes or daytime facilities under physician orders. You will collaborate with the care team to meet patient goals and ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, Texas SLPA licensure, and a minimum of 6 months of full-time pediatric clinical experience, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
