Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Completion of CPS online application and teaching profile at cps.edu/teach.
• Valid Illinois teaching license with endorsement for the role (LBS1).

• Demonstrate deep understanding of content, pedagogy, and student knowledge to select objectives and design instruction and assessments.
• Create a respectful, inclusive classroom culture with strong management and discipline.
• Respond to student needs with engaging instruction and aligned assessments.
