Arcadia Home Care and Staffing – an Addus family company is seeking a capable Scheduling Supervisor to coordinate in-home care workers and clients in Independence, OH. The role focuses on ensuring care plans are followed and staffing coverage is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in scheduling or health care, bilingual Spanish, and strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel and scheduling software. Full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• 2 years scheduling or health care experience preferred.
• 1 year office experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• On-board and train new branch Administrative employees.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Position Summary: Responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area. If you seek a challenging position with the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped older people and people with disabilities live safely at home, this is the job for you! Supervisory and/or home care experience preferred.

Hours: Full Time: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. No On Call Requirement.

• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Position Requirements & Competencies:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual Spanish required
• 2 years of scheduling or health care experience required
• 1 year office experience required
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
• Must have reliable transportation.
