Job summary

Addus HomeCare, Inc. is seeking an in-home care Scheduling Supervisor to oversee field workers and clients in a defined Illinois area. You will coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling aligned with each care plan, ensuring service continuity and compliance.

The role emphasizes supervision, documentation accuracy, and strong communication with care teams. Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm; former home care experience preferred and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of industry experience required.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and scheduling software.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and drives the field recruiting and hiring process.
• Oversee the new hire process for all new employees and ensure documentation is completed timely and accurately.
• On-board and train new branch Administrative employees.
• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client records and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Position Summary: Responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area.
