Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Steubenville/Wintersville area is seeking a supervisor for scheduling in-home care workers. You will oversee client care plans, coordinate staff rosters, and ensure continuity of services for elderly and disabled clients.

The role requires at least 1 year of scheduling or health care experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with opportunities to train new staff and improve care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of scheduling or health care experience required.
• 1 year office and recruiting experience required.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Scheduling program.

Responsibilities

• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicates with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
• On-board and train new branch Administrative employees.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
