Job summary

TrueCare in Perris, CA seeks a Community Outreach Worker to connect underserved communities with vital health resources. You will engage the public, attend events, and distribute educational materials to promote health literacy and enrollment.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, build relationships across diverse populations, and occasionally work evenings or weekends. A vehicle and valid CA driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Local Perris candidates will be considered.
• Knowledge of local community-based agencies; experience conducting health screenings and community presentations in Perris and nearby communities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Associate degree in healthcare or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent outreach experience in healthcare customer service.
• Availability to work outside standard hours (evenings, weekends).
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills to engage with community members.
• Ability to build relationships across diverse populations.
• Will require to use own vehicle to travel daily to outreach venues; California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and a clean driving record is required.

Your Role & Impact

As a Community Outreach Worker, you’ll be a frontline ambassador for TrueCare, responsible for engaging with underserved populations and connecting them to essential health services. You’ll coordinate and attend community events, distribute educational materials, and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to promote health awareness and increase patient enrollment.

Your work will help reduce barriers to care, improve health outcomes, and foster trust between TrueCare and the communities we serve.

What We’re Looking For:

The startomg pay for this role is $23.00 per hour - depending on work experience and internal equity. The maximum that one can make while holding this title will be 32.20 per hour.
