Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist in Tennessee to support store leadership in sales, service, and daily operations. You will guide team members, manage customer experiences, and step in as shift lead when Managers are away.

The role emphasizes strong communication, handling store processes, and ensuring accurate transactions and store appearance. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and execute service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedures.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued accurately; merchandise is staged correctly.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedule and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and secure the store.
