Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is seeking a Bilingual Site Assistant to support the ARCHES Project shelters in Polk and Marion counties. Duties include daily operations, client navigation to resources, and data entry in HMIS.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, two years in public or social services, and bilingual proficiency. The position is grant funded, full-time, with growth and training opportunities, and on-site work only.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of work experience in a public or social services role.
• Bilingual skill is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of homeless, vulnerable, or at‑risk populations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and videoconferencing tools.

Aufgaben

• Provides program support, such as cleaning, site upkeep, laundry and supportive services.
• Provides client engagement and assistance, including answering the telephone and monitoring safety.
• Assists with meal preparation and distribution and access to guest laundry and computers.
• Opens and distributes incoming mail; handles outgoing mail.
• Uses de‑escalation techniques and makes quick decisions in incidents.
• Supports HMIS data entry and navigation to resources for clients.
• Attends required trainings; performs janitorial and laundry tasks as needed.
• Supports nutrition staff with kitchen tasks and meal preparation.
• Participates in community outreach as directed by supervisor.
