Job summary

MWVCAA is seeking an On-call Site Assistant to support ARCHES Project sites in Polk and Marion counties. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, clerical duties, data entry, and helping clients access resources.

This on-call role offers growth opportunities and hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus two years in public or social services; Basic Life Support/First Aid within 30 days; Food Handler's Card within 30 days;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of work experience in public or social services.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides program support, such as cleaning, site upkeep, laundry and supportive services.
• Provides client engagement and assistance, including answering the telephone, monitoring client and facility safety.
• Works with support staff regarding follow-up to services, assisting with meal preparation and distribution.
• Facilitates access to guest laundry and computers; opens and distributes mail.
• Performs data entry for HMIS and assists clients with navigation to resources.
