Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency seeks a Lead Site Assistant to support shelter operations for ARCHES sites in Polk and Marion counties. You will help with cleaning, laundry, clerical tasks, data entry, and guiding clients to resources.

You will train incoming staff and volunteers, coordinate with staff and volunteers, and ensure HMIS data input and safe, respectful service delivery. Shift: Day shift Friday–Tuesday; grow with opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in customer service, social services, or client-facing roles.
• Experience with homelessness or public healthcare/community services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for respective work shift.
• Trains incoming staff and volunteers on duties, processes and policies.
• Facilitates communication between Site Assistants and volunteers.
• Ensures data collection and quality; inputs service usage into HMIS.
• Maintains a calm, safe environment for residents and supports daily shelter operations.
