Compass Connections is hiring at the Cameron facility in Los Fresnos, TX for compassionate and dependable individuals to support emergency shelter and group home placement for children. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish, with a schedule Monday–Friday evenings, and a background in social work or related fields.

Certifications in First aid, CPR, and Emergency behavior intervention are required, with 1–2+ years of related experience.

Formación

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; graduate degree preferred.
• Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Minimum one year of related experience; two+ years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Meet federal and state regulatory guidelines for the position.
• Supervise shift schedules and staff assignments.
• Ensure daily progress and activities are documented per agency policies.
• Assist with orientation of new children and staff.
• Contribute to development of treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain child safety and apply de-escalation techniques.
• Plan and supervise activities for children according to daily schedule.
• Maintain secure campus environment and proper radio communication protocols.
