Job summary

Hope's Door is seeking a Bilingual Shelter Case Manager in Plano, TX to provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors of domestic violence living in the emergency shelter. You will manage a caseload, conduct intakes, develop individualized service plans, and connect clients with housing, legal aid, and community resources.

Your role includes safety planning, crisis intervention, and coordinating with staff and partners to support survivors on their path to healing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience in crisis intervention and case management.
Ability to work in English and Spanish.
Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Provide survivor-centered, trauma-informed advocacy and case management.
Maintain an active caseload of approximately 10–20 survivors, dedicating time to direct client services.
Conduct comprehensive intakes, needs assessments, and ongoing evaluations.
Develop individualized service plans reflecting survivor goals and circumstances.
Assist survivors with safety planning and navigating housing, legal, and community resources.
Collaborate with staff and partners to promote safety and access to services.
