Job summary

Hope's Door New Beginning Center (HDNBC) is seeking a Bilingual Shelter Case Manager to provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors in the Garland shelter, with occasional outreach to offices.

You will maintain an active caseload, deliver safety planning, assist with housing, legal needs, and access to resources, collaborating with staff and community partners for comprehensive survivor support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; master's preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and service coordination.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for shelter survivors.
• Maintain an active caseload of 10–20 survivors; devote around 20 hours weekly to direct services.
• Develop individualized service plans reflecting survivors' goals and needs.
• Coordinate housing, legal, financial resources with partners and staff.
• Facilitate groups and provide education, referrals, and follow-up support.
