Qualifications

• Crisis counseling knowledge or experience is desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must respond constructively to adults and children in crisis.
• Knowledge of social services/mental health is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis interventions via 24-hour Crisis Line during assigned shift.
• Maintains client files in Salesforce and logs daily updates.
• Conducts client intakes and exits as needed on shift.
• Arranges emergency transportation as needed.
• Treats clients with respect, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Checks and maintains patient records with accuracy at end of shift.
• Works with Shelter volunteers and staff to meet program goals.
