Job summary

North LA County Regional Center (NLACRC) is hiring Service Coordinators to provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for diverse individuals and families across Early Start to Adult programs. This role emphasizes cultural sensitivity, independence, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and two years of experience, with a Master’s degree acceptable in lieu of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and two years of related experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related subject may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and their families.
• Document, complete forms and reports per NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, and providers.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and apply culturally sensitive strategies.
