North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) seeks a Service Coordinator to provide information, advocacy, and service arrangements for consumers and families. You’ll help develop and monitor plans, coordinate services, and document requirements in line with NLACRC policies.

Engage with diverse stakeholders, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and adapt strategies to overcome barriers while serving in-home, community, and office settings. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and at least two years of related experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related subject may be substituted for experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangements for consumers and families.
• Participate in development of program plans; monitor and revise as necessary.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Document and complete forms/reports per NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule/interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, providers and advocates.
• Identify barriers and implement culturally sensitive strategies; work in diverse settings.
• Rotate officer-of-the-day duties; assist co-workers and provide on-call coverage.
