M&T Bank is seeking a branch-focused Relationship Banker to identify customer needs and deliver proactive sales solutions through our retail sales process. The role involves building relationships, handling account openings, and driving referrals while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Responsibilities span customer outreach, profiling for sales opportunities, loan packaging, and cross-selling retail and business banking products.

Qualificações

High school diploma or GED with 3 years of proven retail sales, call center, customer service or telesales experience.
Alternatively, a high school diploma with at least 2 years of proactive sales experience.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Well-organized with time management and prioritization skills.

Responsabilidades

Develop new customer relationships and expand existing relationships through proactive outreach.
Engage in Relationship Management, sales profiling, account openings, and lead-focused calls.
Follow up with clients to progress development plans based on identified needs.
Develop knowledge of Business Banking products and services.
Evaluate financing requests and prepare loan applications.
