Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CNA preferred.
• Must complete DPH training for screenings.
• BLS CPR certification required (Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Read, write, speak and understand English; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist school nurses with screenings and patient care.
• Handle data entry, notices, reports, health records and office organization.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all protocols.
• Monitor students during dismissal and accompany to hospital if needed.
• Assist with outreach to families and health supply orders.
• Attend trainings and professional development when necessary.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
