Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to students with special health care needs.
• Ensure student safety at all times.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures.

Skills

Valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Massachusetts

One to two years experience in a child health, community health or relevant clinical setting

Current CPR/AED certification

Ability to provide care and safety to a student with Type I Diabetes

Knowledge of professional and legal requirements

Human relations skills

Basic computer skills including data entry and word-processing
