Qualifications

• Must hold valid LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
• CPR/AED certification current (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Experience with medically complex students in health or school setting preferred.
• Ability to provide emergency care and plan of care for students on IEPs/504s.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to students with special health care needs or in a classroom setting.
• Ride bus with students before and after school when needed.
• Ensure student safety at all times; assess and treat illnesses and manage chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as required.
• Collaborate with school nurse, staff, and health care providers to ensure quality care.
• Maintain medical records and document daily on students.
