Job summary

Central Valley is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our Vallejo, Napa or Woodland facilities. You will serve as the primary customer contact for orders and bids, coordinating with Inside/Outside Sales and ensuring timely processing of quotes and orders.

The role requires strong organization, bilingual Spanish/English skills, and experience in a fast-paced sales environment. You’ll operate at the store counter and collaborate with vendors and customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary customer contact and coordination for all orders.
• Responds to customers’ changing needs.
• Proactively resolves account issues either individually or with others.
• Acts as the liaison between the Company, Inside/Outside Sales and customers as directed.
• Maintains status for customer orders and bids on the display screen.
• Maintains pipeline for assigned customers.
• Sources special orders, manages timing with vendor.
• Enters material information into the system and follows up with the customer.
• Keeps Sales Contact and Operations informed regarding order status.
• Learns and stays informed of additions, deletions, and changes to Company product lines.
• In-puts and maintains accurate call offs for purchasing to buy materials.
• Proactively resolves account issues either individually or with others.
• Applies knowledge of building process (which materials to ship first for customer) and material species to customer orders.
• Assists, as required, in all phases of in-house customer service, including processing sales orders, entering quotes, and bid coordination, and Outside Sales/Account Manager interface, and helping at the store counter.
