Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a Sales Assistant in Cedar Park, TX to be the primary liaison for customers and internal teams. You will streamline communication, support sales floor operations, and ensure accurate sales documentation.

You will assist with bids, orders, and scheduling while supporting both customers and installers. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus with flexibility for various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Must be detail-oriented, taking time to read/follow details of builders/contractors.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product information and conduct research.
• Provide necessary point-of-sale information and close sales.
• Accurately write and enter bids/orders, including pre-install measures; support outside sales teams.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and promptly answer telephones.
• Collaborate with install team on order maintenance and follow-up scheduling.
