Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional 1 (Bilingual) to oversee Facilities Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Safety, Health and Risk Management.

You will lead multi-program safety initiatives, craft site-specific safety plans, and collaborate with Project Management to drive ORM. You will apply extensive knowledge of OSHA rules, industrial safety practices, and training programs while coordinating with customers and project teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in S&H training and regulatory compliance (1910/1926, EM-385 1-1).
• Safety management systems knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of culture-building in teams.
• Willingness to pursue ASP/CSP/CHST.
• Previous electrical/construction/industrial S&H experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customer and owner on site conditions and Non-Compliance Notice (NCN).
• Lead the Operational Risk Management (ORM) team to develop a site safety plan.
• Develop and implement Site-Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans.
• Assist with site safety budgets, permits and ensure compliance with plans.
• Conduct / assist with incident investigations and reporting.
