Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Safety Professional to oversee construction safety, health, and risk management across projects. You will implement site-specific safety plans, train teams, and coordinate with clients and GC/owners to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with a high school diploma
• 4+ years with an Associates Degree
• 0+ years with a Bachelors Degree
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience conducting S&H training, Regulatory compliance expert/1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1
• Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill and experience
• ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100
• Trainer Designation - OSHA 500/502 - Safety and Health / Occupational Safety degree from an ABET accredited program
• Willingness to pursue ASP, CSP, CHST
• Previous electrical / construction / industrial S&H experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC and/or owner of general site conditions and/or NCN
• Participate in meetings with customers, project team members, and contractors/sub-contractors to advise on mitigation plans, S&H training programs, and technical reports
• Assist with development and implementation of Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans
• Assist with site safety budgets, safe work permits and ensure compliance with contract and specs
• Lead the ORM team in reviewing and developing a project safety plan based on specifications and regulations
• Conduct / assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA, DOT compliance, insurance audits, workers compensation, safety surveys, AHA, emergency plans
• Proficiency in MS Office including SharePoint
