Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a bilingual Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) Assistant Director of Patient Services to join our client's Licensed Home Care Services Agency clinical leadership team in Flushing, Queens.

The role oversees day-to-day clinical operations, supervises nursing staff, ensures regulatory readiness, and drives quality improvement across interdisciplinary teams, with travel within the service area for RN field supervision.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered in NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• 3+ years nursing experience and 1 year home health experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure readiness for NYS DOH surveys and audits, manage records and tracer reviews.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for clinical staff.
• Monitor clinical records, plans of care, orders, and incident reporting; analyze trends for QA/QI.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, insurance companies, and care coordinators to resolve care delivery issues.
• Prepare reports, lead clinical meetings, and support emergency preparedness and infection control.
