Job summary

Oriental Bank is hiring an Associate, Retail Channels (Bilingual Teller) to deliver exceptional service to customers in person at our Bayamon, PR location. You will handle teller transactions, promote banking products, and guide customers to the right specialists when needed.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong problem-solving and documentation skills, and the ability to multitask with multiple software systems while maintaining accuracy and security.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner through teller functions.
• Perform regular teller transactions via electronic/remote interactions in compliance with bank policies.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to other bank areas when appropriate.
• Balance end of day procedures and adhere to security, audit and compliance requirements.
• May mentor/trainer to new Virtual Tellers and communicate customer feedback to branches.
