Oriental Bank is seeking an Associate, Retail Channel (Teller) to deliver superior customer service in a busy on-site branch in Caguas, PR. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and routine payments while promoting bank products and maintaining strict adherence to policies and regulations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, basic math skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy. Prior cash handling and retail/floor experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or approved credits in Business Administration or related field
• 1 year of retail, customer service or cash register experience
• Fully bilingual: English and Spanish (written and verbal) preferred
• Basic mathematical skills required
• Detail oriented; able to manage multiple priorities
• Analytical, proactive problem solving, organized, multitask oriented
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Visio
• Availability to work branch hours and overtime as needed

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality, efficient services to customers while following procedures
• Handle a range of transactional services with accuracy
• Promote bank products and cross-sell to customers
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and branch procedures
• Balance cash fund and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Maintain logs and registers of transactions
• Address customer inquiries and refer to appropriate area as needed
• Escalate suspicious activity to management
• Support branch operations and teamwork
