Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support the Retail Manager and oversee daily sales-floor operations. You will coach staff, ensure great customer service, manage cashier operations, and help implement sales strategies to drive store performance.

You will work with a bilingual team, requiring some English and Spanish communication, and you will contribute to a fast-paced thrift store environment while maintaining store standards and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, Teams and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently within instructions and routines.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous thrift/retail/warehouse or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: manage day-to-day operations of the sales floor under guidance of the Retail Manager.
• Team Development: supervise and mentor retail team members, providing ongoing coaching.
• Customer Service Excellence: ensure exceptional service, handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly.
• Inventory Management: oversee inventory levels, ensure products are stocked and priced.
• Cashier Operations: supervise cashier transactions and cash handling procedures.
• Learning and Growth: review reports, understand department goals, contribute to performance metrics.
• Collaborative Leadership: implement sales strategies with the Retail Manager.
