Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a Retail Supervisor in New Jersey to support the Retail Manager and oversee daily sales floor operations. You will coach team members, ensure excellent customer service, manage cashier operations, and contribute to meeting sales targets while maintaining store standards.

You will work with the team to enhance the shopping experience and implement sales strategies, under guidance from the Retail Manager, in a fast-paced thrift-store environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams and Outlook.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight of daily sales floor activities under the Retail Manager.
• Supervise and mentor retail team members with ongoing coaching.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve inquiries.
• Oversee inventory levels and pricing accuracy on the floor.
• Supervise cashier operations and cash handling procedures.
• Review key reports and contribute to performance metrics with guidance.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager to implement sales strategies.
