Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management duties when managers are unavailable, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to lead by example, and adherence to company procedures for process and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to provide excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service and ensure adherence to programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure calls and inquiries are handled per policy and orders are processed timely (buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, etc.).
• Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Ensure Zipline messages, Image Maker, and merchandising tasks are completed as assigned.
• Monitor staffing, clock-ins/outs, and daily opening/closing duties, including security and deposits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
