Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will lead team members to deliver outstanding service to retail and professional customers, ensure proper processing of orders, returns, deposits, and safety procedures, and help drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience is desirable.
• Automotive knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure team executes on service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store transfers promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign merchandising tasks accordingly.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and securing the store.
