Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. The role may assume shift management in managers’ absence and encourages bilingual applicants to apply.

The position requires strong communication, ability to obtain RSS Certification, and preferred experience in auto parts retail. ASE certification and automotive knowledge are assets; multilingual skills (Spanish) are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the showroom customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Monitor work schedules; clock in/out per policy; perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
