Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Concordia, KS is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may take shift management responsibilities in the absence of leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be bilingual encouraged, and able to oversee daily tasks, process shipping orders, handle returns, and maintain showroom standards to deliver an outstanding shopping

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Bilingual abilities encouraged, Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process retail returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules, approved deviations, and proper clock-ins/outs.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money/deposits, bank deposits, and secure building and deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
