Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Des Moines, IA seeks a Branch Leader to guide sales and service teams, drive branch performance, and align with the credit union's mission and values.

You will mentor staff, coordinate scheduling, oversee HR activities, and ensure policy compliance while engaging with the community and promoting member service excellence.

This position reports to the Director Retail Branches and requires high energy, strong leadership, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 7+ credit union or related experience is required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability and team building.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, sales, and service excellence.
• Compliance with SAFÉ Act and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage retail branch banking offices, including sales, service and operations.
• Staff management, HR, training, and cross-functional projects.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve goals and branch performance targets.
• Coach staff to drive business development activities and referrals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and maintain personnel records.
