Job summary

Marquis Commercial Solutions is seeking a Recruiting & HR Coordinator to manage the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, and training. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and involves travel to company locations as needed.

The position is part-time, hourly, non-exempt at $20/hour, with a 25-hour workweek and a hybrid schedule (remote and on-site). Reports to the Director of HR.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for hourly roles; onboarding experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (as required).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient recruiting process to reduce time-to-hire while ensuring quality.
• Manage all job postings and postings through Paylocity.
• Respond to candidates by phone and email within 48 business hours.
• Conduct interviews by phone, video, and in person; provide hiring recommendations.
• Maintain candidate pipeline with status updates in Paylocity.
• Forecast staffing needs with Operations leadership.
• Complete background checks and onboarding packets for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and I-9 verification.
• Onboard new employees, explain policies and processes, and coordinate training.
• Travel to company/client locations to support recruiting, onboarding, training, and engagement.
• Conduct exit and stay interviews to improve retention.
• Promote internal career growth and leadership opportunities.
