Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking a Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) to join our Reston, VA HR team. You will manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly field, shop, and skilled trades roles across HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, service, and construction operations.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required. This in-office role may involve local travel to job fairs and trade schools. You will also support onboarding and other HR initiatives as needed.

Qualificações

• Fluent in English and Spanish – required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably for hourly or high-volume roles.
• Experience recruiting in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or skilled trades is preferred.
• Experience with candidate sourcing and ATS.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and hiring priorities.

As VMG continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) to join our Human Resources team at our Reston, Virginia office. This position will play an important role in helping us attract and hire talented individuals across our field, shop, and skilled trades operations.

The Opportunity

The Bilingual Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment, primarily supporting hourly field and skilled trades positions across VMG's HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, service, and mechanical construction operations.

This is an in-office position based in Reston, VA, with occasional local travel to job fairs, trade schools, and hiring events. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in recruiting skilled trades talent. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

This role will also support onboarding and other HR initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly field, shop, and skilled trades positions.
• Recruit for positions across HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, service, warehouse, and mechanical construction operations.
• Source, screen, and communicate with candidates in both English and Spanish.
• Conduct phone screens and evaluate candidates based on experience, qualifications, and position requirements.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring timelines.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified skilled trades and construction professionals.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
• Attend job fairs, trade school events, hiring events, and workforce development programs.
• Develop relationships with trade schools, community organizations, and workforce training programs to strengthen VMG's talent pipeline.
• Assist with onboarding coordination and other HR processes as needed.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and other Human Resources projects.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish – required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting hourly or high-volume hiring.
• Experience recruiting within construction, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or skilled trades strongly preferred.
• Experience with candidate sourcing and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and hiring priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to occasionally travel locally for career fairs, trade schools, and recruiting events.
• Must be able to work in office at VMG's Reston, Virginia location.
