Job summary

Ascend Staffing in McKinney, TX is seeking a Bilingual Recruiter to recruit, interview, onboard and manage field employees, with daily contact to general managers in person and by phone. You will use the ATS, social media, and job boards to source candidates and coordinate interviews.

A strong emphasis on communication in English and Spanish, scheduling, and client relations is required. This role includes onboarding paperwork, on-site attendance, and an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required for clear client/candidate communication.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, email) and efficient use of essential programs.
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass a drug/background check.

Responsibilities

• Screen, interview, hire, conduct orientations, monitor work performance, and placement of field employees using the ATS.
• Actively utilize social media, job boards, and recruiting tools to find candidates and schedule interviews.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to set and achieve weekly goals.
• Complete new hire paperwork for field employees.
• Build and maintain relationships with branch clients.
• On‑call rotation and dependable on‑site attendance.

Bilingual Recruiter Pay Rate:

• $19 Per Hour + Monthly Performance Bonuses

Recruiter Job Summary

Our recruiters are responsible for recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and managing employees sent out to work. They also handle day‑to‑day operations by providing customer service and having daily contact in person and by phone with the general managers, who accept the employees we are sending out to work.

Recruiter Duties/Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for this role to effectively communicate with our clients and candidates
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience
• Good personal computer knowledge and ability to use essential programs (MS Word + Excel, email, etc.) effectively and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills (over the phone and in person)
• Record‑keeping skills
• Self‑motivated
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Good phone and instant message etiquette
• Ability to prioritize urgent tasks as needed
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• HR coaching experience
• Prior knowledge of scheduling and planning
• Prior knowledge of email and calendar use
• Prior use of Microsoft Teams
• Social media recruiting experience
